Purple Foxglove

On my pathetic sunshine walk

I saw a purple foxglove growing from a concrete sidewalk.

Fearing the sunlights observaviton I walked past it.

But on my way home I was haunted by the flower,

I didn´t take a close enough look,

And couldn´t remember neither the color nor the pattern of the blossoms.

So as the sun went down and the evening approached I sneaked out of the house

and walked back to find it.

There it was.

Waiting for me.

Shimmering in the blue light.

and I bent down and stole it from the moon.

She couldn´t be mad or judge me,

for she knew I only took such satisfaction from watching beautiful things die

Because I wasn´t able to do so myself.
